Dr. Vaid's Story

Dr. Meenu Vaid founded Savera Wellness with a simple belief: every patient deserves compassionate care, clear answers, and the time needed for true healing.

With over 15+ years of medical experience, Dr. Vaid has dedicated her career to treating complex conditions that impact the whole person. Her journey into medicine began in India, where she earned her medical degree before moving to the United States to complete her residency and fellowships.

I chose to specialize in addiction medicine, infectious diseases, and pain management because these are areas where patients often feel dismissed or misunderstood. My goal is to provide expert medical care while treating each person with the dignity and attention they deserve.

Dr. Vaid’s approach goes beyond traditional medicine. She integrates evidence-based treatments with holistic therapies, such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy and wellness coaching, addressing not only physical symptoms but also mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors that affect health.

Dr. Meenu Vaid integrates a holistic approach that emphasizes the mind-body connection, combining her extensive experience in pain management with cutting-edge therapeutic practices. Unlike conventional methods that may rely heavily on medication or physical interventions, Dr. Vaid's PRT program focuses on understanding the psychological and neural aspects of pain for sustainable recovery.

Sessions involve an in-depth understanding of your pain history and a series of cognitive and emotional exercises. Dr. Vaid uses techniques such as guided somatic tracking, visualization, and mindfulness to help patients reframe how their brain interprets pain, facilitating a shift from pain awareness to pain reduction.

An infectious disease doctor diagnoses, treats, and prevents infections, including bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic diseases. They also manage chronic conditions like HIV, oversee antibiotic stewardship, and provide travel health consultations.
